Lost letters i. e m k also in my space bar in MacBook Air M2

MacBook Air M2 Ventura 1.1613.2.1 ; Wacom Intuos Tablet Pro S for editing ; Capture One 23 - 16.1.16.

When I want to rename my layer the keyword skipped letters i. e. e m k etc. I know it is a keyboard issues  but how to fix on Mac? Also, I sometimes see a blue rectangle in the layers module --why? and, what it the functionality of this and how to get of it?

I searched Google & YouTube and can’t find. For a former librarian it is BAD!
