Sony A7 ARW file not compatible in Capture One 23

Capture One 23 is supposed to be compatible with my first generation Sony A7 and after uploading raw files I'm getting an unsupported or incompatible file icon next to the image. CP1 23 will not allow me to edit the raw files. This is on a Windows 10 install.

  Hey, I have the same problem. I thougt I am stupid. I have a Sony A 7 III. I have already sent a ticket. But now I think I am not alone with the problem.

  Perhaps there also others?

  So I figured out how to fix this. I had the CP1 Express 23 installed with a Fujifilm license and noticed my Sony license was different. I went to licenses in CP1, and deactivated the Fujifilm license, then the program restarts. Once it restarts use the Sony license to authenticate and it should reopen as CP1 Express 23(Sony), everything worked after that. Hope this helps.
