Loyalty Program

The "loyalty"regime is backwards. Those who have stood with Capture One the longest should be afforded the better rewards, that is, having to pay less for upgrades to 23. For someone like me who has been with the product since CO1, it is a bit of a slap in the face. I began using non-camera brand image processing programs with the original DxO. Then I discovered Capture One which rendered highlight, shadow recovery, noise reduction, micro-contrast and colour fidelity better. Now (notwithstanding the various and sundry AI features that mock the integrity of RAW imagery yet certainly has its place in todays smorgasbord of digital image-making and viewing) I compare my Capture One Pro 22 with DxO Elite and I wonder why I should spend all that money to upgrade to Capture One Pro 23 when DxO has never punked me with outrageous price increases and "loyalty" programs which mock my loyalty.

    ppssstt! It's not a Loyalty Program - it's a Loyalty Test! Are we users willing to PAY c1 for OUR loyalty? I'm not!
