sync Catalog to Session workflow

I have a structure for both session and catalogs.

I start uploading from camera to a session - so all my files are organized in a structure of sessions. In the session I do culling, picking and basic editing. 

I then want to have an overview of my sessions - so I can browse in between alle sessions.  

After basic editing in the session I export it to a catalog to make it possible to do the browsing . 

If I then  within the catalog do further edits I really need the possibilty to 

Reexport my catalog images back to the session so the two are in sync

  Yes this sounds similar and I already upvoted it. I intend to "migrate" my old request into the new forum topic somewhat later.
