Fujifilm GFX 50 Tethering problem (greyed out options in C1)
Hi! At my workplace we have a problem with our GFX50r. When we shoot tethered in to C1 we can change appatuere/shutter/iso. But sometimes (often) when we take a shot from the cameras shutter capture one sort of locks up. The appature number in C1 gets greyed out and you can´t shoot, change settings etc. from C1.
If you pull out the cord and put it back it works again.
Does anyone have a permanent solution for this? We run the latest firmware on the camera, MBP M1 Max with ventura (and previous OS).

From my experience of shooting GFX 50s cameras tethered for over 4 years, I can tell that my first suspect would be tethering cable. What brand of cabled are you using? GFX 50 is somehow picky when it comes to cables. I use tethertools and it's far from perfect. Lots of freezes, slow transfers and other problems. Cable needs to be in perfect condition. Second suspect is camera usb port. Might be a bit loose making data transfer unstable which freezes camera.
