Number on imported files

Why does capture one 22 pro put different file numbers & put the high numbers first in file strip with the lower number at the bottom on my imported Fuji raf files. The first & last images are in the right ordered I took them but the first image has the highest number on it in capture one  but lowest number on my sd card?
