So did a complete re install, changed some settings and it seems to be a huge amount better. Not sure what the initial cause was, but, it is up and running and very usuable again!!! 😊

I was loosing connection alot, but I just tried using the powered usb cord from Tethertools and shutting off the sleep commands on both the macbook and the cam, ran for a couple hours with no hiccu...
