All you have to do is hit the H key to hide the cropped area in the Viewer. I have to say that its pretty annoying to hear users who authoritatively give incorrect inexperienced advice.

Thanks, I have to believe this is a widespread problem with Capture 1 users. Its not so bad that it makes the program unusable but it is a very annoying waste of time.
