Figured it out.I had an ICC profile in the Export settings that was causing the crash. Changing the ICC profile to AdobeRGB fixed it.

As a result of all this I tried Qimage for printing. BLOWN AWAY by the sharpness and clarity of the prints. Moving forward Il use Qimage for the printing part of my workflow.

Also if you have google cloud back up running - turn that of. Tethering on a Mac Mojave wont work if the google back up service is working.
