It does work on thumbnails in CO10.At least the alt-space shortcut works, not the cursor tool itself.

Yes this one works, thanks.Very weird indeed, I've never encountered such behavior.Try to switch hardware acceleration off to see if it solves the issue.

Low ISO of course, preferably the sensor's native ISO. In the digital photography world, high ISO means signal amplification and therefore also noise amplification.
