I run CO8 on one of my Macs with various seeds of Yosemite since when CO8 was released and I have not found any incompatibility, so far.

I do not think it is a Yosemite issue, I run CO 8.01 on Yosemite on a MBP I use for testing and I do not have such a problem (all the crop options are there, all active).

No, it does not. With the X-Rite SW you can create dcp profiles which can be used in ACR, Lr, Iridient, AccuRaw and may be some other raw developer but not in Capture One.
