If I understand correctly, you'd like to use the single root folder (your date folder) for Capture, Selects, Trash and Output? This can't be done by default, not within the session workflow.

There is no User Comment field in Capture One, and the information is not brought into the Capture One workflow.This Knowledge Base article describes what is imported, if that helps:
