Do you think a fresh install would help(?) It is a royal pain to do. I havent done regular permission repair though.....

Yes Paul, they DID show up in CO6 (thats the frustrating part).What would I expect to accomplish by opening up a case?Thanks,Mark

bump, just interested in ANY improvement in speed, my prev exp with 7 was TOO SLOW, and my ONLY choice for tethered acquire is a 2011 (non retina) mbp wth ssd and 8 g mem. is this still unworkable?
