I have noticed a similar problem, but not to the same extent (perhaps 2-3% of my images). Will correct itself when you press the white balance auto feature.

I agree, my suggestions were ignored as well during beta, but I can only hope that in time, if we keep bugging them, perhaps they will eventually respond.
