I typically only use PS for sharpening, unless I'm going to do some layers stuff like background blur etc....I find the COP results are typically outstanding for the adjustments.

I've not noticed the cause of mine on Vista32, however, the 6.1.1 is crashing WAY too often for my tastes. PO needs to get this version stabilized more quickly than they are currently progressing.
