I think this issue only happens whith DUAL PIXEL RAW activated on CANON EOS R. Not problem with other cameras or EOS R with DUAL PIXEL OFF.I have a case open and waiting for response.

CO 12.1 has a issue with DUAL PIXEL RAW, Support answered me that will be fixed on the next update. Didnt give me an estimated time...However, you can work in new sessions if you disable Dual Pixel...

3. not all files in a folder are imported

Same problem with me. Canon EOS R with DUAL PIXEL activated, fails on actual sessions, and no more importing files in new sessions. Yes without DUAL PIXEL.I have a case opened and still waiting...
