I ran into similar error messaging yesterday that turned out to be an NTFS permissions issue.I suspect this isn't your issue, but it's at least a thing to check.

FWIW, I opened a support case on this issue this evening (it's 9:00pm-ish as I post this from Kansas City). I'll share the results as they come.
