I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain the camera HDR settings only apply to in-camera JPEGs. And you may not have even been referring to this, rather bracketing and HDR on the computer.

Some of the newer cameras have a built-in HDR setting and I thought you may have been referring to that when you said "shoot HDR". My mistake.

I would just create a folder album and drag the images there. Only takes a few seconds.

Ok, that might not be a bad way to go. One session per job or project. Any suggestions on organizing what could pile up to hundreds or thousands of sessions? Separate folders for different dates...
