Hi Jack, I would like to share that I just reset my camera to factory settings (something that wasn't brought up so far nor did it occur to me till now), the issue is gone, it is working perfectly...

I would like to mention that I am tethering via a TetherTools cable and the OS is Mac. The live controls work when I switch the display mode to 'Camera' but then the live view doesn't work.
