Problems with Tiff files.
Capture One 20 does not recognize all Tif files. I edited astronomical images with AutoStakkert 3 and saved them in Tif format. Capture One 20 can load the images but I cannot edit them. Why? Which Tif formats are supported by Capture One 20?

Yup. As the link Okular provided says tif/tiff files are supported. However, the tiff image needs to be in an RGB color space -- not grayscale -- and must be 512 pixels or more on its shortest side.
The RGB and image size limitations hold for all file types, not just tiff.
