Is capture one 21, the same as capture one express?
I just downloaded what i thought was capture one express for fujifilm. On my computer it just says capture one 21 and is a 30 day trial version.
I just wanted the express for fuji, and I thought it was free, so wouldn't that not have a trial version?

the installation file is the same for all product variants within the same version update but the key defines your available product. It sounds as if you activated with a trial key.
If your current install is not Capture One 21version 14.2, then download it here: https://www.captureone.com/en/products-plans/capture-one-express/fujifilm
Th express key will appear on the page after clicking download and you can also find it on your Capture One user account page 'Manage Licenses', click the arrow down to see the license key.
If it is already version 14.2 of Capture One 21 you have installed, you need to deactivate the trial key to activate the software with the express key instead. See how to on the link below:
