New version won't recognize my key from Nikon only version?

    I had the Nikon version and just installed the Pro version after upgrading to the Pro version for free. When I start Capturte One I get the same message. Besides, in the license info in Capture One it still see "Capture One (for Nikon)".

    I found the problem with mine. They had two emails on file for me. Somehow, they switched them, or at least that's what I think happened. Anyway, if you're having a problem, might want to verify the email they're using. Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

    Thanks. But unfortunately, for me it did not work. The email adress is correct. When I log in directly on the webpage of Capture One, I can see both licence keys in my order history, the one of the Nikon version and the Pro Version i bought for free today. When I start Capture one, the license I see is the one of the Nikon version. 

    I am not sure if I have to deactivate the Nikon-version license in Capture One and afterwards input the license key of the Pro version. I just fear that I get the same problem and cannot activate the new license key.

    Here's the message I just rec'd from support, maybe this will help? Not sure what "new key" she's talking about though?

    While the error message is misleading, you should have seen the option to deactivate the software as well. Please, do so and then reactivate Capture One using the new key. You should be able to unlock the software this time.

    Now it works! I proceeded according your suggestions. I decativated the existing license and entered the new one for Capture One Pro. Now everything is fine again. This was a really very helpful hint from your side. Thank you very much!
