There are many ways to order files in the browser, just make sure the right one is chosen. Name or date are good choice for sequential files; size must be avoided.

The way to do it is simply to switch off the AF on the lens or camera orsetup to BBF… my favourite option.Using M focus in tethered sessions is common practice in product pho-graphy.
