This a limitation in CO. You also can't select multiple folders. If you came from Lightroom or Aperture then this can be rather annoying 😉

Mine is set to Auto for both and I still have the same issue. My Mac system is quite old now and isn't supported for OpenCL by CO so maybe that is the problem.

You are assuming Quality 50 in Lightroom = Quality 50 in CaptureOne. That may not be the case, you may have to lower the setting in Capture One to get similar compression. Opening a support case ...
