I don't think they will release an Express version 7. Maybe now is a good time to look at alternatives out there. I am in the same boat as you, waiting for support for Canon 650D.

I am also waiting for a new v6.x.x with support for newer cameras. I can not justify the cost and also really want to move up to V7 Pro. My PC is Windows 32 bit only so V7 Pro is not an option. ...
