    I had it in 5.1 as well. I didn't figure why it happens, but once the application is restarted the thumbnails are regenerated.

    Although you are an administrator you work with lowered permissions on Win7. Watch out for other problems like this - like not being able to edit hosts file all of a sudden.

    I figured it - it removes only dust and not spots. The dust is softer, has some details in it and has similar color to the surroundings. For example this tool can't remove birthmarks.
