    I was wondering whether I should keep previous adjustments on import or not. I’m assuming the adjustments are those the camera does for lens distortion so I should keep these?

    That's a relief!Indeed it is. If it was truly that much slower I’d be pursuing Apple u dear the consumer rights act, and I think others with new machines should too.
