New Lens Profile Request
LoggedHi, I am a longtime lightroom / photoshop user, new to Capture One. I love the easier and better color tonalities, and much faster workflow; however almost none of the lenses i use are supported. Making a request for the following:
Tamron 35mm f2.8 e-mount (excellent lens)
Tamron 24mm f2.8 e-mount (super flare resistance)
Samyang 45mm f1.8 e-mount (great character)
Samyang 75mm f1.8 e-mount (great character)
Viltrox 20mm f1.9 e-mount
Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro art for Sony e-mount (sharp as a tack, very nice iq)
__
I have other lenses, however above is my wish list.
From my perspective there are 2 or 3 areas that keep capture one from crushing it over lightroom. One is lenses profiles, another would be round-tripping multiple files for focus stacking to photoshop, and finally a few masking tweaks (although of course there are many pluses already).
Thank you for all your work.
p.s: As a software developer (whenever i have some free time), I am thinking of writing a small app that could listen to a set of directories that images are output to from capture one, and then update new or changed images to SmugMug. I could have it clean up after itself as well by deleting files once uploaded to save disk space. Not perfect, but also workable, and requires no extensibility of either platform.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your feedback on Capture One - we appreciate the time you’ve taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your request to support this lens profile to the dedicated thread - https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360012937417-Lens-profiles-support-please-submit-all-the-requests-suggestions-regarding-lens-profiles-here-?page=11#community_comment_360003937458
Hopefully, your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.
Meanwhile, please feel free to check this article on how to work with unlisted lens profiles.
