    Hi Chris. Thanks for responding. I Resolved this through c1 support ticket. It turns out that my iPad has a broken port and will not supply power. I confirmed this when I tried to charge my iPhone...

    I can successfully tether my R6 to my iPad Pro 12.9” but only if I use a powered Hub… my understanding was I could use a simple single USB c to USB c cable? any help I’d be grateful  Thanks
