    Thanks Grant. Odd the HDR would show up in the files as the manual says it isn't available for NEF's. On my camera the HDR function is grayed out because I only shoot NEFs. I might contact support ...

    Today I upgraded to 10.1 hoping that Capture One would finally recognize D500 files but it doesn't.

    It seems that "back to lightroom" is the problem. The files that wouldn't open as tif's in photoshop had some processing done in lightroom before they were imported into Capture One. When opened as...
