Catalog structure Presets

What problem do you see this solving?
When working on a large documentary I structure my images by date in the Catalog:

Folder Catalog Object > Project Catalog Object  >All imagesCollection

In the Project Catalog object there are also several "smart groups" which separate the images by camera metadata, keywords etc.

This structure is always the same and it is quite tedious to create it by hand – although the smartest templates help of cause.

I'd like to have the option to build templates for complete Catalog structures:

Folder
>>Project
>>> Album
>>> predefined smartlist 01
>>> predefined smartlist 01

this would help in the consistency of the catalog structure and save time

A nice addition to this would be to have the tokens for the naming of the folders available - like in other areas of CaptureOne

 

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Every time I import images in my dokumentary-catalogues - weekly

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I create the structures by hand and try my best to be consistent

  If I understood this right this is a template for an NEW catalog – which is great, but I need this in an existing catalog...
