Print Sharpening
I've read the article and watched a video about proofing an image for print where you enter the print size and the viewing distance for the appropriate amount of sharpening to be applied
https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002636457-Applying-sharpening-for-printing
This is great and obviously works if you are exporting the image to send off to a lab.
But, why is this method not included in the print module. When I go to print an image from Capture One, I'm presented with a sharpening slider with a value between 0 and 100. What the hell is that meant to mean to me?
Surely Capture One should be applying the appropriate amount of sharpening based on print size, resolution and viewing distance.
0-100 is not very helpful. I can't even zoom in on the image in the print module to see how the sharpening is effecting my image.

Elliott,
The printing module of Capture One has a wide margin of improvements. I have highlighted this point and others to the Capture One staff at least 2 years ago, without any effect. And I use the printing module of Photoshop (or Lightroom) instead....
