Capture One 2020: Can you import scanned greyscale images and work with them?

Hello all,

I"m evaluating C1 to decide if I migrate to this from other applications.

In addition to shooting digital I also shoot on medium format film and scan that into my computer for editing and publishing to print.

My default method of scanning B&W negatives was to scan them into greyscale files....my last application didn't like that and I had to go back and rescan into B&W but in RBG format.

 

Can Capture One work with imported greyscale images, or does it require all flies coming in to be RBG too?

  Capture One also requires RGB - I have to scan all my 35 mm b&w negs as RGB tif to be able to work on them in Capture One.
