Images display too light in C1 4.5 Pro
I have a problem where images are displaying too light in C1 4.5 Pro Windows. Areas that are RGB values in the 200-220 range are essentially white on the screen. If I process an image and look at it in PS CS3 it looks fine. Conversely, if I adjust an image so it looks correct in C! and then process and view in PS it looks at least a stop dark and prints dark as well. I want to like 4.5 as there are many new features over 3.7, but I may have to go back to 3.7 if I cannot resolve this issue and the problem with proxies not being cached globally. I use the light version myself, but also with C1 4.5 LE I had previews that were too bright, compared to output in photoshop and print. Version 4.6 has previews that are more in line with photoshop and printed output. (and are not overly sharp as the ones in version 4.5 are) So perhaps upgrading to version 4.6 will help.

Thanks. As it turns out, after writing the initial post, I closed C1 and hit the sleep button on my computer and went out for a while. I came back, woke the computer up and started C1. It then looked correct. I had restarted C1 many times prior to that, so the only explanation is that somehow the sleep process forced a reload of monitor luts for C1. PS CS3 had been open throughout this process and did not change. This is a real head scratcher, but as long as it does not go 2 stops light again it should be useable. 0
