Weird color rendition with Canon 1dx+C10.2
Hi,
I was shooting a parade with people wearing costumes with all sorts of bright colors on a cloudy day. I was using the Canon 1dx mark 1(RAW only) + 35mmf/2 IS and the colors on the LCD looked alive but when I processed the RAW in C10.2 the colors were very flat, muddy and almost weird looking. Orange costumes became almost pale peach. I worked on adjusting the images but nothing I tried worked.
I've shot a lot of parades in cloudy situations with Panasonic Gx85, Nikon D4, D800 and have not noticed this kind of effect.
I compared gx85 and 800 images and the colors looked way better.
Anyone have this issue? Is it just 1dx rending in C1.
I've been using C1 since v3 and love the color rendition of C1 way more than LR. In fact, the output reminded me of the crappy colors I got out of Lightroom.

It would be interesting if you could tell us whether the previews of the adjusted raw files in Capture One looked good are flat. Or that only the processed images looked flat. And how you review the processed images. 0 -
No problems here with my 1dx raw files (C1 10.2 Windows)
Have you selected a different ICC profile? Happened once to me.0
