If you are specifically discussing Tethering and Live view functionality (no the more widely available Focus tool) then I see from the User Guide that is is only available for certain cameras.

Might a different camera to what you normally use be a factor here?

Found it... the 'Live View Focus Meter' tool window had to be added to the live view. It now works.

Just on a side note this latest capture 21 has been pretty buggy with regards to the tool windows. A lot of the time the software duplicates the tool windows over and over again. Sometimes the tools like you have used for years (Live View Focus Meter), have disappeared.

    Rory,

That is a very specific tool that I have to say I had never come across on 10 years or so of Capture One use.

But then I probably don't own any of the cameras that it can be used with.

There are times when things like Menu systems need to be updated and in ways that mean that bringing forward any and all previous tools and user specific settings may not be the best thing to do automatically. The recent change to the tools window to introduce a scrolling area was a case in point.

For posterity, in case anyone else stumbles across this thread in the future and want to find out more about the feature, here is a link to a relevant article in the knowledge base.
