Capture one express for sony license key
How can i get my license key for capture one express? All guides are WRONG!!! I spent hours already doing the same shit over and over. After i installed capture one express and i want to generate a license key i get to the download. All is just a loop to download and no chance to get a key. i already done two accounts and still the same. So you want us to buy lightroom instead? No real support either it seems. No answer to my mails.

Yes i did. On one account i have free trial, on the other account there is nothing. i can send me an email for further instructions but no email arrives. When i download capture one express the guide says on registering i am asked wich camera i use and i can answer those questions and get a sony license key. But that never happened. Tried chrome and Safari browser, two account. Nothing from the guides show up on my screen.

Do you know that the free Express version has a reduced feature set as opposed to the Pro trial version?
If there are important features you do need/want you might decide either to use a different software (and don't bother anymore with the C1 license key) or to buy the Pro version anyway (and hope the license key will be available without the hassle you have right now).

I have not looked at the various incarnations of Capture One licensing lately, but there may not be a Sony express. Brand-specific licenses were discontinued a while back, see https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007791797-All-about-Capture-One-licenses
On that lpage you will find "If you currently have Capture One Express, you need to make a new purchase in the Capture One e-store." but I do not know if that is the whole story.

Thank you for your answer. So it seems everythign advertised on the homepage is wrong and that there is just no more express version for Sony. Well i will buy Lightroom then.

I am using an Express version, does this impact me?
No changes are being made to our Express product at this stage. Your software will continue to work as it is.
needs to be read that only existing intallations continue to be running, for while, but no new Express versions can be activated?
Interestingly, the Express link below jumps direcly to Fujifilm Express.
C1 does not win a medal in communcation.

Your question cannot be answered accurately here. This is mainly a User to User forum
My advice would be to use the "Submit a request" option (see the top line of this page) and ask Capture One directly.
