I usually shoot table top with a Canon 1D Mk2 S. The other day I had to use a Hassie 553 ELX with a P21. The only way I could get it to capture was to fire it twice. Any idea what I was doing wrong?

I shoot table top to fit small boxes on flyer pages. The overlay function would be useful to me if I could reduce my image to fit the boxes.
