Capture One and Topaz Mask AI
I am attempting to use Topaz Mask AI stand alone. I am using the most recent version of C! on a MAC desktop computer. When I save the Mask file (tif, tiff, or PNG) the file is not properly read by Capture One. It is read perfectly on other programs such as Lightroom. Any idea of what is happening and how to fix it?

Capture One images have to be in the RGB color space. It does support layered TIFF and should be able to import and then flatten a file with an alpha channel (https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003483098-TIF-JPG-PSD-PNG-support, https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002638238-Making-image-adjustments-with-an-external-editor).
If you are following this process and still can't open the file, you may need to submit a support request. Perhaps someone who is working with alpha channel masks in files to be imported into Capture One had the answer.

Here's the trick ...
1.) Select C1 image right click -> edit with Topaz mask A1 - edit mask in mask AI save as mask only 8-bit Tif with the same file name.
2.) C1 Create a luma mask: Fill Mask -> Luma Mask select Range -> Raster Mask
3.) Copy the layer settings into the original file. <-> - Completed
Lens Correction - Geometry could be an issue.
