Hummm. I am pretty sure you can export a catalog in LR that does not duplicate images. Then your images in the c1 catalogue will be pointing to the originals. Or you could important the original LR...

Indeed. I moved my LR keyword list that I started from https://www.controlledvocabulary.com/ over to C1 with no pain at all and am happily using it just like I used to with no perceived difference....
