Wired tethering equipment

  • iPhone X and above
  • A supported camera
  • Camera adapter for iPhone models with the Lightning port; don't use the adapter with USB-C port models like iPhone 15 and newer
    • Lightning to USB Camera Adapter
    • Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter
    • Some lightning on-the-go (OTG) adaptors might work, but our recommendation is to use the Apple one.
  • Cable compatible with your camera; ending in USB-A if you need to connect to the Apple camera adapter

Wireless tethering equipment

  • iPhone X and above
  • A supported camera
  • A stable Wi-Fi connection – preferably a dedicated connection solely for transferring images (a non-public Wi-Fi connection) or a direct connection between the camera and your mobile device

    So we cannot tether to iPhone 15 pro since it’s a USB-C port?
