ANSWER
Windows 10
- In the Taskbar search box, type MSINFO32.
- In the System Information window, click on the File menu and then Save.
- Set the destination folder to save the file in, enter a filename, and then click Save.
Windows 7
- On the keyboard, hold down the WINDOWS key and then hit R.
- In the Run window, type MSINFO32 and then click OK.
- In the System Information window, click on the File menu and then Save.
- Set the destination folder to save the file in, enter a filename, and then click Save.
Windows Vista / 7
- Press the Start button or the Windows icon to start.
- Go to All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Information.
- In the System Information window, select File -> Save.
- A Save As window will appear, allowing you to choose the destination where the file will be saved. Choose the System Information File (*.NFO) option in the Save As Type field from the dropdown menu.
Windows XP and 2000
- Click the Start button.
- Click the Run menu item.
- In the Run window, type "msinfo32" (without quotes).
- When the System Information window appears, select File -> Save.
- Then type the filename "system.nfo" (without quotes). Click Save.
