ANSWER

• Windows 7

• Windows XP and 2000

Windows 10

1. In the Taskbar search box, type MSINFO32.
2. In the System Information window, click on the File menu and then Save.
3. Set the destination folder to save the file in, enter a filename, and then click Save.

Windows 7

1. On the keyboard, hold down the WINDOWS key and then hit R.
2. In the Run window, type MSINFO32 and then click OK.
3. In the System Information window, click on the File menu and then Save.
4. Set the destination folder to save the file in, enter a filename, and then click Save.

Windows Vista / 7 

1. Press the Start button or the Windows icon to start.
2. Go to All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Information.
3. In the System Information window, select File -> Save.
4. A Save As window will appear, allowing you to choose the destination where the file will be saved. Choose the System Information File (*.NFO) option in the Save As Type field from the dropdown menu.

Windows XP and 2000

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click the Run menu item.
3. In the Run window, type "msinfo32" (without quotes).
4. When the System Information window appears, select File -> Save.
5. Then type the filename "system.nfo" (without quotes). Click Save.
