Lets say I've shot NEF images on my Nikon Z6 using one of the built in Nikon Picture Controls, like Monochrome or Sepia. Is there a way in the import window to ensure that this picture control is retained upon import? I've just imported a bunch of NEF files that were shot on Monochrome but they've all turned into color images after viewing them in C1

When are we getting the Deep Tone Monochrome picture profile for the Nikon Zf, Adobe lightroom has that profile now.

Is there an update on this issue? I can see the Picture Control setting being picked up only when culling, otherwise it's not applied.

I also want to know if there is an update to this issue. I just bought a Nikon Z f and I am disappointed to see that the support in Adobe Lightroom is much better. I left Lightroom years ago due to Capture One’s great handling of Fujifilm RAW files. Now that I’m switching systems, I’d hate to have to go back to Lightroom.

Still surprised that Deep Tone Monochrome and Rich Tone Portrait are not available after all this time. Lightroom has had these two picture controls now for a while and they are well regarded among Nikon shooters.

Please add these two picture controls.

I'm running into the same issue after buying the Nikon ZF. Please add the Deep Tone Monochrome and Rich Tone Portrait modes. We should really have the option to match the profile of what you shot to be something you can enable by default instead of trying to and manually figure out which image was which after the fact

OK, C1 has just converted 600 monochrome images shot on a Z7 ii into colour... that is quite disappointing. How do I get the Nikon Monochrome Carbon (picture control 20) back???
