Cannot export to JPEG after update to 23?
So I just upgraded to 23 and now I am getting this strange message when I try to export an image to JPEG.
This message makes absolutely no sense. My image is on a local HDD and I am exporting to my Desktop. What does this message even mean?

It looks like you don't have any export recipes defined and selected (among other missing export options). I have mine set up like this.
Note the option at the bottom Show all options is checked also.

I do not see these options. I am using the Sony Express version. I never had this problem before.

I'm afraid that I don't know the reason for your problem, but I can confirm that there aren't export recipes in the Express version, so that at least explains why you don't see the options that Jeff Gottloeb mentions.

Here's what I think:
If you close this dialog and look at the image thumbnail in the browser you'll find a question mark icon indicating that this ARW file is offline. Exactly as the error message tries to tell you.
The question then is why is this image offline. Did you rename or move it on your drive instead of doing so withing C1?

Aha! I see that! Hmmm....? I don't know why it is showing offline as I just imported this image from my HDD drive and I can go and see the image on the drive right now, so the drive is connected, and functioning, and the file is accessible. It makes no sense for the file to be Offline.

If you right-click on the file thumbnail and select Show in Library and Show in Explorer, does it open the correct folder (in library or in Explorer respectively)?

BeO Thank you so much for your help. Somehow, the files had become disassociated with the folder on the HDD. I had to remove the from the catalog and reimport them. All is well now. I guess it was the "Online" word that was confusing me because I associate that word with things stored in the cloud (i.e google drive, dropbox, etc.)

You are feeding my nightmares... first there will be subscription only license model and soon thereafter they implement that you can only export images stored in CaptureOne.com cloud storage. :-)
