I was able to fix my problem by: 1) install 16.5.1 over 16.4.3 and reboot 2) still crashes 3) select "Modify" in the Apps listing, reboot and test

I just performed a "repair" the the Microsoft library Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) and then rebooted. This fixed the problem for me.

I'm still having those crashes after updating to 16.5.1.2546 too. Installed all of Microsoft's latest patches before updating Capture One.

The invite website seems to need to save cookies. It didn't work when I used a Firefox private window but declined all cookies but did work when I accepted all cookies.

FWIW, I'm running Windows 10 Home with KB5039211 installed and I have no problems with CaptureOne 16.4.1.2127 starting. However, I upgraded to 16.4.1 after the patch was installed.

Or click on Edit->Preferences->Update then click on "Check for Updates" in the bottom right corner. If there are any eligible updates listed, click on the version number which is a hyperlink.
