Why does downloading need to be sooo complicated?

Would someone kindly explain to me how I need to proceed to update from version 16.3  to 16.3.5? I have a capture one pro subscription, updates should be free..

Thanks for your help.

    If you are already on 16.3, then an update to 16.3.5 is indeed free. Just log on to your account at the Capture One website, go to downloads, and click the download button.

    Or click on Edit->Preferences->Update then click on "Check for Updates" in the bottom right corner.  If there are any eligible updates listed, click on the version number which is a hyperlink.
