Like the title says, improve capture pilot! It has never been a reliable or stable app since its inception. The never ending game of myself or one of my digital techs apologizing to clients and art direction on set because of the glitches and crashes is getting old and annoying. Here’s a snippet from a support ticket that resulted in sending me a link to here…
I can not pinpoint an exact iOS, capture version, or capture pilot version as I work with different digital techs shooting different all the time. Sometimes my computer and iPad, sometimes the techs, sometimes the companies. But all computer are running the newer Mac bases chips, all iPads are newer within the past couple years, and versions of capture are either 22 or 23. None the less, the behavior of capture pilot has been the same for years. Buggy, glitchy, and crashes… constantly. I had a day where I could document its behavior on set (oddly enough, it didn’t crash 10+ times like it did the job before) but here is what I got…
-images flickering
-images not appearing when reshooting into a previous capture folder
-random images not rendering
-again

So yea, please make Capture Pilot stable app as a flawless running version could be an extremely helpful tool on set.
