Hello Dave Blake and thanks for the feedback. We are tracking this idea with the team but we have not added to our plan yet. We will investigate how easy it is to add it to the app and will get back to you. Could you share a few words about you and your workflow? What type of photography are you into? What kind of cameras do you use?

    Thanks!

    Evi

I'm a full-time agency rep'd fashion and beauty photographer based in New York. In my time off I like to shoot on the street with a lightweight, minimal setup. For this, I shoot with a Nikon DF and manual focus 28mm lens. After I've taken pictures on the street, I will go to a cafe and process them on CaptureOne mobile (my iPad mini or iPhone - it works great). But it would be great to be able to tether to my iPhone while I am shooting, which would then also mark the GPS data for each picture taken. This would be helpful so that I can go back to my pictures and remember where they were.

I have the same request. Should be a simple task! KH

Thanks for sharing Kjetil Horn! Could you please share a few details for your specific workflow like Dave did? Also why this is important for you. It will help us prioritise it higher.

Hi Evi and thanks for asking! During a day photographing I will often be walking a city shooting some street and som casual snaps. The camera is wirelessly connected to CO app. Often I will then go for a coffee and do a quick edit. The GPS coordinates for each photo should then be linked to it. Otherwise this has to be done in two different apps. No real worry but it would be easier! Thanks for considering this!

I do a range of photography, one job is to photograph cemetery headstones on behalf of relatives, or family history researchers. GPS data is almost essential for this task. I use PhotoMechanic for this (and to include a wider range of IPTC data - but that's another story). C1 has a "slot" in the IPTC template for GPS but it can't be added. My old version of Lightroom 4 (yes a 12yr old app) allows GPS editing or adding, so to echo Kjetil Horn - it should be a simple task!
