What do the status icons in list view mean?
If I switch to list view in a catalog, one of the columns is named "Status". (Portion of screenshot attached.) Where can I find a description of what the different icons mean? For example, some images have an "eye" icon, others have a square with horizontal lines in it (perhaps meaning notes? comments?), and still others have a red slash through a … pencil? needle? toothpick? (can't tell what that it is). Other icons include the export icon, and some images have no icons at all.
(My apologies if the icons are described in an obvious place and I missed it, but I did try looking in the manual, searching the forums, and Googling …)

The icon on images 1, 2 and 4 means that the image can't be edited - this could be for a number of reasons, such as it being too small, or editing not being enabled for the file type (for instance a JPG when JPG editing is not enabled in settings.
The eye icon on image 3 means that the image can be viewed but not edited.
The icon on images 5 and 6 indicates that edits have been applied to the image.

Can I ask a followup question, Is there a way to sort by status indicator or to search for a specific indicator ?

Sorting
Not that I know of. If you click on the view menu, you can see all kinds of things that you can sort by, but Status isn't one of them.
Search
Not exactly, but you can at least use the Filters tool to find images that have been adjusted. You may need to add that filter to the default ones. Click on the ... I have ringed, then select the Adjusted filter to be shown. It's not much, I'm afraid, and I don't know of a way to find most of the others.
