Reistalling C1 from scratch on macOS
A few weeks ago I submitted a bug report to the support and in the end, after a couple of proposed solutions failed, they advised me to uninstall and reinstall Capture One. At the time I couldn't because I didn't have the time to work on possible problems (configuration data loss) that could be caused by the procedure.
Now I'm experiencing some other problems, including a constant degradation of performance, that probably could benefit (if not other, for better diagnostics) by a reinstallation. But above all I'm on vacation, so I have plenty of time.
Of course I always have a recent backup of everything. I suppose all the configuration data (brushes, recipes, whatever) on macOS are at
~/Library/Application Support/Capture One
Right? So there's nothing else to take care of.
Do you have any other hint before I proceed?
Thanks.

Uninstall means to remove most if not all components of an application. Your existing issues can be on any one or more files, even small ones, associated with Capture One. Thus your backups may contain files with problems.
My "tip" is to read this before you start.

Of course what you said is true. But at least I'd have restricted the possible source of troubles.
Yes, thanks, I have that article at hand.
